“Art speaks to the soul, not the eyes,” says artist Lina Casale. “It is in search of open expression.”

Casale grew up in Pereira, Colombia, surrounded by the vibrancy of the “Golden Triangle” in the heart of the Andes mountains. But it was family that gave her spirit color.

Casale lost her father at just 5 years old, but her memories of him continue to be her greatest inspiration. She discovered a deep connection with him through art. Inspired by his vivid drawings, she began to build upon his work and create a style uniquely her own.
